Part of my year, 2011

I added a lot of photos today, but didn't label them! Photos include my SEVEN grandchildren! Russ and Johni have Cobe, Harper and Warner. Chad and Jenae have Ella, Brock and Miri. There are various photos of all of them starting with winter, photos of all of us during Chad & Jenae's visit here over Easter week, and the newest little guy belongs to Charlene and Josh, baby Cameron. I think I have the best 7 grandchildren around. Wish Carl and I had more time to see them. One photo is at Charlene's baby shower, Charlene with the 3 grandmas of her baby, Carol, Thelma and Nancy.

Kayaking is my summer passion, and I selected just a few of my lake photos from Newman Lake, Twin Lakes and Spirit Lake. Only got out on 5 days this year. Still hoping for an awesome weekend day yet in October to get back to Spirit Lake, but looking out the window at gloom and drizzle right now. Fingers crossed!

The last batch of photos is from vacation last week with Mom, our first girl's vacation together to Williston, North Dakota ... everyone's dream vacation spot, right? We had the most wonderful vacation week... it's not the place, it's the people. And we have some WONDERFUL people in our family. It was a complete escape from stress, and sooo hard to say goodbye. To top it off we had blue skies and temps in the 80's all week. Photos include Jack, Chris, Cheri and her adorable children, and Kristi and her husband in Minot. Other photos include Uncle Gene, cousins Candy & Don, and Darcy & Leslie. Just met Leslie, so good to meet new wonderful people. And I don't think Darcy and I have seen each other since gradeschool!

A few photos are from the Norsk Hostfest in Minot, food, fun and music. My wonderful cousins provided a very fun week for us! A few of the photos are of more great cousins in Wildrose and a very fun 24 hours with them! Including visiting the museum of Candy's and my Grandpa Stefonowicz's newspaper printing equipment. This trip was a huge deal for me, we planned this a year in advance, and my health issues improved really in just the nick of time to be able to go, and Mom and I had so much fun!

Part way down, there is a photo of Carl and me in August, on our 31st anniversary. It's been a good summer and we are trying to gear up for a Spokane winter.
